Elliott Dintino: Director of STEM Programs
Hi, I’m Elliott. As junior at Monte Vista high school, I am dedicated - not only towards the improvement of my own education, but the education of others as well. I truly enjoy sharing knowledge and wish to share my enjoyment and understanding of topics to whoever is willing to learn. That is why I am both a cello and STEM tutor. Experiencing both the pros and cons of learning allows me to better understand what it’s like to learn something new. Furthermore, I feel that the large age difference between teachers and students found in schools today creates a barrier that students need to overcome in addition to the existing challenge of learning new material. Because I know how difficult this can be, I hope to create a community where the relatability of the teacher can benefit the student. Since I know I can make the difference I wish I saw throughout my life in school, I am dedicated to teaching others to give them the opportunity I wish I had grasped.
Nikko Le: Director of Students
Hi, I'm Nikko. Since the pandemic, I've lived abroad in the Middle East until moving back to the USA this year, where I now attend Mission San Jose High School. As an aspiring Cognitive Science major, STEM encompasses a majority of the classes I take. In addition to a 1550 SAT (800-750 split, Math-Reading), I have completed high level math courses such as getting a 5 in AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and an A in Multivariable Calculus. Over the course of my education, l've received help from numerous sources, including both teachers, tutors, and even other students. Without their help, it would have been impossible for me to make it this far. It's the primary reason why I love teaching myself, as a way of passing down valuable knowledge.
Ayush Rane: Director of Resources
Hi, I’m Ayush. As a junior at Monte Vista High School, I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and love for STEM with others. I believe learning is most impactful when it’s engaging and tailored to the student’s needs, and I strive to make complex topics feel accessible and exciting. Through my own academic experiences, I’ve gained insight into the challenges students face and how to overcome them. As a STEM tutor, I focus on fostering curiosity and building confidence, helping students not only improve their understanding but also develop a genuine appreciation for the subject. Teaching allows me to give back and inspire others, and I’m dedicated to supporting students in achieving their goals and unlocking their potential.
Corwin Yu: Director of STEM Education
Hi, I’m Corwin! I’m a junior at Monte Vista High School. I have learnt how important it is to feel prepared in the classroom and before tests and believe that anyone can excel in all fields with interest alone. I hope to be able to help as many people as I can and maybe along the way help someone find a new interest. Personally I dabble a little bit in chemistry (AP Chemistry, Teachers Assistant) and enjoy law and economics; regarding the latter, I participate in competitions throughout the state/nation.

-Participated in the Wharton Global Youth Investment Challenge
-Scored 5 on AP World 2024
